I feel like I know little to nothing in all of the areas you will be focusing on and I don’t want to be behind everyone else... How 'basic' is this training?

The instructors will be covering a lot of information, but this is Level 1 and so it's meant to accommodate beginners to intermediate learners. Don't keep yourself from coming if you aren't familiar with any of the topics covered. That's okay! That is the reason we're doing this training, so you can get the exposure, training, and practice you need to have more confidence in ALL of these areas.

Is this retreat something that could be attended by a “single” female? I’m interested, but my husband probably won’t be able to get time off of work. If I did come alone, will the bunk rooms be segregated by gender?

Absolutely! We will have dorms separated by gender to accommodate all of our 'single' participants.

Is there a discount?

Will this training be TOO basic for me?

This training is geared toward beginning and intermediate learners. However, there will be many 'nuggets' shared by the instructors who have decades of experience, including in austere environments and traveling to 60+ countries, that will make it a valuable investment for intermediate and advanced learners. Besides the opportunity you will have to brush up and practice the skills you already have.

And to participate in future Advanced Trainings you will need to first complete this Level 1 Training.
